Micro-Credential Development Specialist 1 Position
Overview
Micro-Credential Development Specialist plays a key role in supporting the development, implementation, and adoption of micro-credential initiatives at KMUTT. This position involves strategic planning, technical development, research, and stakeholder engagement to enhance competency-based learning and industry partnerships. The candidate will work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in micro-credentialing.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing competency-based learning frameworks aligned with industry standards.
- Support the development of learning pathways for micro-credentials that enhance employability.
- Conduct research on global trends in micro-credentialing to inform program improvements.
- Collaborate with faculty and industry experts to design high-quality learning experiences.
- Support quality assurance processes to ensure alignment with accreditation and industry needs.
- Support initiatives to increase faculty adoption of micro-credentials through training and workshops.
- Engage with students, employers, and industry partners to understand their skill needs.
- Coordinate tasks and timelines in collaboration with team members and external partners.
Qualifications
- Uphold and demonstrate ETS keystone behaviors
- Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Understanding of competency-based learning and micro-credentialing concepts.
- Ability to conduct research, analyze data, and develop competency frameworks.
- Basic knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) and digital credentialing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Thai and English.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
