Celebrating Academic Collaboration: A Courtesy Visit to the Embassy of France
เมื่อวันที่ 12 มิถุนายน 2568 มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี (มจธ.) ร่วมกับสถาบัน ESIEA ประเทศฝรั่งเศส เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฝรั่งเศสประจำประเทศไทย เพื่อสานต่อความร่วมมือทางวิชาการที่ดำเนินมาอย่างต่อเนื่อง
ในการนี้ ฯพณฯ ฌ็อง-โกลด ปวงเบิฟ (Jean-Claude Poimbœuf) เอกอัครราชทูตฝรั่งเศสประจำประเทศไทย ให้เกียรติต้อนรับคณะผู้แทน พร้อมกล่าวเน้นย้ำถึงบทบาทของความร่วมมือด้านการศึกษาในการเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์อันแน่นแฟ้นระหว่างไทยและฝรั่งเศส โดยเฉพาะในโอกาสครบรอบ 340 ปีแห่งความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตระหว่างสองประเทศในปีนี้
รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.พรนภิส ดาราสว่าง ที่ปรึกษาอธิการบดีด้านพัฒนาความเป็นสากล มจธ. กล่าวถึงความร่วมมืออันยาวนานระหว่าง มจธ. และ ESIEA ตลอดระยะเวลากว่า 14 ปี พร้อมเน้นย้ำว่า ความร่วมมือดังกล่าวมีบทบาทสำคัญในการพัฒนาศักยภาพนักศึกษาและขยายโอกาสการเรียนรู้ในระดับนานาชาติ
ภายในงาน นักศึกษาได้ร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นกับคุณฟรองก์ เชเลต์ (Franck Gellet) ที่ปรึกษาเอกอัครราชทูต ซึ่งได้แบ่งปันประสบการณ์ด้านการทูต และสร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้เยาวชนตระหนักถึงบทบาทของตนในเวทีโลก นอกจากนี้ ดร.ลูโดวิค อ็องเดรส (Ludovic Andrès) ผู้ช่วยทูตฝ่ายความร่วมมือด้านวิทยาศาสตร์และอุดมศึกษา และคุณร็อกแซน ปัวตู (Roxane Poitou) ยังได้ร่วมบรรยายถึงแนวทางความร่วมมือด้านวิชาการไทย–ฝรั่งเศส พร้อมเน้นย้ำบทบาทของเยาวชนในการขับเคลื่อนความสัมพันธ์ระยะยาวระหว่างสองประเทศ
มจธ. ขอขอบคุณสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฝรั่งเศสประจำประเทศไทย สำหรับการต้อนรับอย่างอบอุ่นและการสนับสนุนอย่างต่อเนื่อง รวมถึงขอแสดงความขอบคุณต่อ ESIEA สำหรับความร่วมมืออันมั่นคงและยาวนาน ความร่วมมือครั้งนี้ไม่เพียงส่งเสริมการพัฒนาทางวิชาการ แต่ยังเป็นการสร้างความเข้าใจอันดีระหว่างประเทศผ่านการศึกษา การแลกเปลี่ยนวัฒนธรรม และการส่งเสริมคุณค่าร่วมในระดับสากล
Bangkok, Thailand — King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) and École Supérieure d’Informatique Électronique Automatique (ESIEA) marked a significant milestone in their academic collaboration with a courtesy visit to the Embassy of France in Thailand on June 12, 2025. The visit brought together French students, KMUTT faculty, and distinguished representatives from the Embassy.
The event was opened by H.E. Jean-Claude Poimbœuf, Ambassador of France to Thailand, who warmly welcomed the delegation and reaffirmed the importance of educational exchange in strengthening bilateral ties. This year’s visit was especially meaningful as it coincided with the 340th anniversary of diplomatic relations between France and Thailand.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pornapit Darasawang, Advisor to the President for Internationalization at KMUTT, delivered a goodwill message and highlighted the breadth of cooperation between KMUTT and French institutions, particularly the 14-year partnership with ESIEA.
The students had the opportunity to engage in insightful discussions with Mr. Franck Gellet, First Advisor at the Embassy, who shared his experiences in diplomacy and encouraged students to consider the global impact of international cooperation. Further enriching the visit, Dr. Ludovic Andrès, Attaché for Scientific and Academic Cooperation, and Ms. Roxane Poitou presented an overview of Franco-Thai academic collaboration, emphasizing the role of youth in sustaining long-term partnerships.
The visit concluded with a group photo at the Ambassador’s residence, symbolizing the spirit of friendship and shared commitment to global education.
KMUTT expressed sincere appreciation to the Embassy of France for its continued support and warm hospitality and extended heartfelt thanks to ESIEA for its enduring partnership and commitment to academic collaboration. The visit not only inspire students but also deepen the bonds between nations through education, cultural exchange, and shared values.
