คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ มจธ. ร่วมกับสโมสรนักศึกษาคณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ จัดกิจกรรมปฐมนิเทศนักศึกษาใหม่ ประจำปีการศึกษา 2569 ระหว่างวันที่ 25–26 กรกฎาคม 2569 เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมและต้อนรับนักศึกษาใหม่เข้าสู่รั้วมหาวิทยาลัย ผ่านกิจกรรมหลากหลายที่มุ่งส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ ความสามัคคี และความภาคภูมิใจในการเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของครอบครัววิศวกรรมศาสตร์ ณ พื้นที่ต่าง ๆ ภายในมหาวิทยาลัย
วันที่ 25 กรกฎาคม 2569 เริ่มต้นด้วยกิจกรรมฐานสัมพันธ์ จำนวน 5 ฐาน ซึ่งออกแบบให้ผู้เข้าร่วมได้ละลายพฤติกรรม ทำความรู้จักเพื่อนต่างภาควิชา และฝึกทักษะการทำงานร่วมกันผ่านกิจกรรมกลุ่มที่ส่งเสริมการสื่อสาร การแก้ปัญหา และการทำงานเป็นทีม อันเป็นพื้นฐานสำคัญของการใช้ชีวิตในมหาวิทยาลัยและการประกอบวิชาชีพวิศวกรในอนาคต ระหว่างการดำเนินกิจกรรม รศ. ดร.ทวิช พูลเงิน คณบดีคณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ ได้เยี่ยมชมกิจกรรมฐานสัมพันธ์ พร้อมกล่าวทักทายและให้กำลังใจนักศึกษาใหม่ในแต่ละฐาน สร้างบรรยากาศที่เป็นกันเองและอบอุ่น พร้อมทั้งอวยพรให้นักศึกษาทุกคนมีความสุขกับการใช้ชีวิตในรั้วมหาวิทยาลัย เรียนรู้อย่างเต็มศักยภาพ และสร้างมิตรภาพที่ดีตลอดการศึกษาในคณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์
วันที่ 26 กรกฎาคม 2569 เริ่มต้นด้วยการถ่ายภาพที่ระลึกของนักศึกษาใหม่ร่วมกับตัวแทนอาจารย์ของแต่ละภาควิชา ก่อนเข้าสู่พิธีต้อนรับนักศึกษาใหม่ ณ ห้อง Slope 600 (SCL 216) อาคารปฏิบัติการทางวิทยาศาสตร์ คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ (N7) มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี (บางมด) โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก รศ. ดร.ดวงฤดี โฆษิตกิตวงศ์ ก้องกิจกุล รองคณบดีฝ่ายกิจการนักศึกษา และ รศ. ดร.สุรวุฒิ ช่วงโชติ รองคณบดีฝ่ายวิชาการ เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิด พร้อมด้วยคณาจารย์ เจ้าหน้าที่ และสโมสรนักศึกษาฯ ร่วมให้การต้อนรับนักศึกษาใหม่อย่างอบอุ่น โดยผู้บริหารได้กล่าวให้โอวาท พร้อมแนะนำแนวทางการเรียน การพัฒนาตนเอง ตลอดจนการใช้ชีวิตในมหาวิทยาลัย เพื่อสร้างแรงบันดาลใจและเตรียมความพร้อมก่อนเริ่มต้นการศึกษา
จากนั้นเป็นกิจกรรมวิ่งรับเกียร์ ซึ่งเป็นกิจกรรมที่สะท้อนถึงการส่งต่อความภาคภูมิใจ ความสามัคคี และจิตวิญญาณของความเป็นวิศวกร โดยรุ่นพี่และนักศึกษาใหม่ได้ร่วมกันสร้างความทรงจำอันน่าประทับใจ ก่อนปิดท้ายด้วยคอนเสิร์ตจากศิลปินวง Whal & Dolph ที่มาร่วมสร้างสีสันและความประทับใจ ท่ามกลางบรรยากาศแห่งความอบอุ่นและเป็นกันเอง
การจัดกิจกรรมปฐมนิเทศนักศึกษาใหม่ ประจำปีการศึกษา 2569 ในครั้งนี้ ไม่เพียงช่วยให้นักศึกษาใหม่ได้รับข้อมูลและความรู้ที่จำเป็นต่อการเรียน รวมถึงการใช้ชีวิตในมหาวิทยาลัยเท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของการสร้างมิตรภาพ ความผูกพัน และความภาคภูมิใจในการเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของคณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ มจธ. พร้อมก้าวสู่เส้นทางการเป็นวิศวกรที่มีคุณภาพในอนาคต

The Faculty of Engineering, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), in collaboration with the Engineering Student Association, organized the Freshman Orientation Program for Academic Year 2026 on 25–26 July 2026 to welcome and prepare incoming students for university life. The two-day program featured a wide range of activities designed to foster friendship, unity, and a sense of belonging among new students as they become members of the Faculty of Engineering community. Activities were held at various venues across the university campus.
On 25 July 2026, the program began with five team-building activity stations designed to help students break the ice, get to know peers from different departments, and develop teamwork skills through interactive group activities. The activities emphasized communication, problem-solving, and collaboration, which are fundamental skills for both university life and future engineering careers.
During the activities, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tawich Poolngern, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, visited each activity station to greet and encourage the new students. His visit created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, as he wished the students every success in their studies, encouraged them to make the most of their university experience, and inspired them to build lasting friendships throughout their time at the Faculty of Engineering.
On 26 July 2026, the program commenced with a commemorative photo session featuring new students and faculty representatives from each academic department. This was followed by the official welcome ceremony held at Slope 600 (SCL 216), Science Laboratory Building (N7), King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (Bang Mod Campus).
The opening ceremony was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Duangrudee Khositkitwong Kongkijkul, Associate Dean for Student Affairs, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Surawut Chuangchote, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. Faculty members, staff, and representatives of the Engineering Student Association also joined in warmly welcoming the incoming students. During the ceremony, the administrators delivered welcoming remarks and shared guidance on academic success, personal development, and university life, inspiring students as they embarked on the next chapter of their educational journey.
The program continued with the Engineering Gear Run, a long-standing tradition that symbolizes the passing on of pride, unity, and the engineering spirit from senior students to the new generation. The activity created memorable experiences and strengthened the bond between freshmen and their senior peers. The orientation concluded with a special performance by Whal & Dolph, whose concert brought excitement and lasting memories in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The Freshman Orientation Program for Academic Year 2026 provided new students with essential information and guidance for academic success and university life while fostering friendships, strengthening their sense of belonging, and instilling pride in being part of the Faculty of Engineering, KMUTT. The program marked an important first step in preparing students to grow academically, personally, and professionally as future engineers.
