On March 29, 2023, Dr. Houei Nii, Acting Vice President of Fukuoka Institute of Technology (FIT), Japan accompanied by Mr. Tetsuya Otani, Deputy Manager of International Affairs, FIT paid a courtesy visit to KMUTT. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suvit Saetia, KMUTT President, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pornapit Darasawang, Acting Vice President for Internationalisation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Asawin Meechai, Associate Dean for International Affairs, Faculty of Engineering and Ms. Sasima Juwasophi, Director of International Affairs Office.
The meeting firstly discussed on the potential academic collaboration between two institutions especially exchange of students, exchange of faculty members, joint research, and short-term program and then KMUTT President and KIT Acting Vice President signed the Memorandum of Understanding for Academic Exchange and Cooperation to officially inaugurate partnership between KMUTT and FIT.
