KMUTT discusses and creates cooperation on human resource development with the Thailand Professional Qualification Institute (Public Organization).

On Tuesday, January 16, 2024, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), led by ASSOC. PROF. DR.SUVIT SAETIA Board Member, welcomed Thailand Professional Qualification Institute (Public Organization), led by Ms. Chullada Meechul, Director. Institute On the occasion of attending a cooperation meeting on human resource development To create cooperation in developing manpower to have professional skills. Responding to the needs of the country and the world in the current context This is in accordance with the policy of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI.) that promotes collaboration between universities and the Thailand Professional Qualification Institute (Public Organization). The discussion meeting was held at the Phinijwithat meeting room (V Space) 14th floor, Learning Exchange Building

On this occasion, the President along with Assoc.Prof.Dr. SIAM CHAROENSEANG Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, ASST. PROF. DR. SANTI CHAROENPORNPATTANA Vice President for Planning and Strategy, ASST. PROF. DR. PANUTHAT BOONPRAMUK Vice President for Education and Learning Development , DR. ORNKANYANEE LIANG-ITSARA Assistant to the President for Lifelong Learning, Executives and personnel from the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology and School of Energy, Environment and Materials and Strategy Office jointly presented the development direction of the university. Especially in terms of goals and models for developing personnel of all ages at KMUTT, as well as summarizing the results of operations that the two organizations have done together since 2016 until now.

In addition, issues of cooperation between KMUTT and the Thailand Professional Qualification Institute (Public Organization) were discussed, which concluded on three concrete matters that will be jointly implemented:

1) joint preparation and review of standards Occupation and professional qualifications As well as being an organization that certifies competency according to the institute’s professional standards. Especially in careers or competencies for the modern world.

2) KMUTT will be a united front of the institute. To promote occupational standards and professional qualifications as the main mechanism for managing and developing human resources in the industrial business sector. This will lead to upgrading the capabilities of the Thai industrial business sector and

3) linking KMUTT’s workforce development mechanisms such as the Micro Credential system, OBEM (Outcome-Based Education Module) system, KMUTTWORKS system, and others with Various mechanisms of the institute such as the E-Workforce Ecosystem Platform system, which both sides agreed to continue working together continuously.
