Speaking of student life at university, besides learning, which is crucial, student activities also play a role in helping students gain valuable life experiences. These activities teach students how to plan and manage tasks to achieve the set objectives, while also promoting teamwork. Clubs, formed based on students’ shared interests from different faculties, departments, and fields of study, are a major part of student activities within the university. Members of the clubs work together, learn from each other, and develop strong friendships. These bonds often continue long after graduation, with the club advisor serving as the central figure fostering this connection. One example of a club that maintains these strong friendships with the advisor at the heart is the Thai Music and Dance Club.

“On Sunday, September 17, 2023, former members of the Thai Music and Dance Club gathered for a reunion to socialize, share a meal, and play Thai music together. On this occasion, a tribute was held to honor Ajarn Rasamee Chutima, the former club advisor, and Ajarn Wittaya Ruangsuttipong, a string instrument coach from Chitralada School. Alumni, ranging from the class of 1987 to recent graduates from the academic year 2019, as well as former staff members with fond memories of the club, participated in the Thai music performance and the tribute ceremony.
The Student Affairs Office of King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi extends its appreciation and pays tribute to Ajarn Rasamee Chutima, a highly esteemed former club advisor, who has long been the heart of the Thai Music and Dance Club and is deeply loved and respected by many students. The office also commends the strong friendships among the club members, who have maintained close ties and strong bonds.
This is just one example of the lasting friendships within a single club, and there are many other student organizations, such as the Student Union, the Student Council, the Student Association, and various other clubs, that continue to foster strong bonds of friendship through student activities within the university.”
