the School of Liberal Arts hosted a seminar

From Tuesday, October 22nd, to Friday, October 25th, 2024, the School of Liberal Arts hosted a seminar for its staff at Room SoLA 901, 9th floor, School of Liberal Arts, KMUTT, and in Krabi Province. The seminar was opened by Asst. Prof. Dr. Sasitorn Suwannathep, Dean of the School of Liberal Arts, who presented on “School of Liberal Arts: Opportunities and Challenges Ahead 25” and introduced the incoming Dean, Asst.Prof.Dr. Natjiree Jaturapitakkul Associate Dean for Global Competency Development.

The event featured a presentation titled “Reimagining Tomorrow” and a Synergy Shift brainstorming session focused on identifying and addressing the top 5+(1) critical issues facing the School of Liberal Arts. Key topics included generating income for the school (through both degree and non-degree programs), enhancing general education offerings with a 24-credit Arts and Science approach, fostering global competencies in students, achieving academic excellence in research, supporting faculty and staff career advancement, and creating a collaborative environment and management system.

Insights from the Synergy Shift brainstorming session were summarized to guide the School of Liberal Arts toward a future of growth and innovation.
