On May 22, 2025, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), represented by Dr.Kongkarn Vachirapanang, Vice President for Human Resources, along with Ms. Kamonthon Jarunrum, Unit Head for Health Care, and representatives from the Energy Environment Safety and Health (EESH), participated in the “Healthy Worker Stronger Nation Thailand Excellence Award 2025” event. The ceremony, organized by the Department of Health, Ministry of Public Health, was held at Centara Life Hotel, Government Complex and Convention Center, Chaeng Watthana, Bangkok.
At the event, Dr.Kongkarn Vachirapanang received the “Outstanding Model of Health-Promoting Workplace and Well-being Organization Award 2025” on behalf of KMUTT. This prestigious honor, the highest level of recognition, was awarded to KMUTT as the only educational institution among 63 organizations nationwide to be recognized this year. The award underscores the university’s strong commitment to promoting health and fostering a well-being-oriented environment for its staff.
KMUTT’s outstanding evaluation result is the outcome of comprehensive health and wellness initiatives driven by collaboration across key university units, including the Health Care Unit, the Energy Environment Safety and Health (EESH), the Benefits and Property Utilization Unit, and the Strategic Communication and Marketing Unit. This top-tier recognition reflects the university’s tangible efforts in enhancing the quality of life and well-being of its personnel.
