KMUTT visited the innovative research and product testing unit for rail transport systems with RMUTL(Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna)

DR.SAKARINDR BHUMIRATANA University Advisor Asst.Prof.Dr. MANANYA PHIANCHAROEN, Assistant Rector, KMUTT, Ratchaburi, Center for Promotion and Support of the Royal Project Foundation and Royal Initiative Projects With a team of teachers and researchers from KMUTT, including Asst.Prof.Dr. VORAPOCH ANGKASITH, Dean of GRADUATE SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT AND INNOVATION, Yeampon Nakaramontri, Ph.D., Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry The Faculty of Science visited the innovative research and product testing unit for rail transport systems. Center for Professional and Technological Excellence Development Faculty of Engineering Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL), with Asst. Prof. Man Tuiphrae, a former master’s degree student. Materials Technology subject Faculty of Energy, Environment and Materials Year of study: 1996. Currently, he holds the position of head of the research unit. He has presented the research of the unit. which is a research question from the Road Maintenance Center Civil Engineering Division, Northern Region, regarding solving the problem of welding and repairing wheel wounds on rail ridges. This must be solved with a welding engineering process. Another outstanding project is the repair of worn transmission parts. Damage from the use of the rail system is the repair of the sliding plate by HVOF thermal spraying with NiCrBSi-Mo composite material, which is in the process of being tested for actual use in the field. (in train stations) and a research project to create a machine to test the fatigue resistance of railroad track welds through wheels.
