KMUTT Partners with Taiwanese Allies to Launch the 7th Taiwan-KMUTT Internship Program (TKIP 2026)

BANGKOK, 29 June 2026 – King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) officially inaugurated the 7th Taiwan-KMUTT Internship Program (TKIP) at Room AD907, 9th Floor, President’s Building, KMUTT Bangmod Campus. The program aims to foster international academic cooperation and provide students with valuable global internship opportunities.

The opening ceremony commenced with warm welcome remarks from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suvit Saetia, President of KMUTT. Following his remarks, Prof. Dr. Vincent Ru-Chu Shih, Vice President for International Affairs & Dean of Office of International Affairs at National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, expressed goodwill on behalf of the Taiwanese delegation. Additionally, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hong-ming Ku, Assistant to the President for Internationalization, KMUTT, provided a comprehensive overview of the TKIP 2026 framework.

A key highlight of the event was the introduction of participating companies and Taiwanese universities. Prominent industry leaders included BDI Group, L.B.E Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd., and Day Grow Enterprise Co., Ltd. Meanwhile, distinguished educational partners included Cheng Shiu University (CSU), National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST), National Taipei University of Technology (NTUT), and National United University (NUU).

Following the inauguration session, the afternoon featured a productive orientation session led by Dr. Chih-Way Lee from T-TECH College (BDI) to further preparing the students for their upcoming international training.

The TKIP remains a cornerstone of KMUTT’s internationalization strategy, empowering students to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and global industry practices through meaningful engagement with world-class Taiwanese enterprises and institutions.
