KMUTT Joins Forces with the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security and 5 Network Universities to Boost Educational Support for Persons with Disabilities: Collaborative Efforts and Showcase on International Day of Persons with Disabilities, December 3rd.

On November 30, 2023, the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security held a signing ceremony for the signing of a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in a pilot project to support educational institutions to spread the potential of people with disabilities to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities between the Ministry and Network universities include King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Chiang Mai University, Prince of Songkla University. Khon Kaen University and Suan Dusit University At the International Day of Persons with Disabilities in the year 2023, Mr. Anukun Piedkaew, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, was a signatory together with ASSOC. PROF. DR.SUVIT SAETIA (President of King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi ( KMUTT)) together with rectors from the 5 network universities above.
There are interesting activities such as organizing a stage to show the potential of people with disabilities. Activities to inspire people with disabilities and academic exhibitions and products/works which is a successful result of developing the potential of people with disabilities from organizations that promote, support, and develop the potential of people with disabilities from all over the country. In addition, KMUTT was invited to give a lecture on Technology for People with Disabilities in Society 5.0 by ASSOC. PROF. DR. .SIAM CHAROENSEANG (Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs KMUTT) and participated in a booth to display work. Innovations and inventions to support the careers of people with disabilities and the results of the university’s operations in developing the potential of people with disabilities by the International Day of Persons with Disabilities this year.
