




On April 9, 2025, the Research and Innovation Division of the Faculty of Science at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) held an academic training program titled “From Lab to Market: The Development and Licensing of Health, Food, and Herbal Products in Accordance with FDA Guidelines.” The event was held at Room SCL124, in the Fundamental Science Laboratory Building. Its purpose was to enhance the knowledge and understanding of faculty members, researchers, students, and interested entrepreneurs regarding the proper procedures for developing research-based products for commercial markets in compliance with the regulations set forth by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of Thailand.
Asst.Prof.Dr. Anawat Pinisakul, Associate Dean for Administration of the Faculty of Science at KMUTT, presided over the opening ceremony of the training event. Throughout the day, the program featured esteemed speakers from the Thai Food and Drug Administration (FDA), who shared their expertise and experiences on several key topics.
On this occasion, Asst.Prof.Dr. Kheamrutai Thamaphat, Associate Dean for Research and Innovation, delivered the closing remarks and presented tokens of appreciation to the guest speakers in recognition of their valuable contributions. This training program reflects the Faculty of Science at KMUTT’s strong commitment to transforming research outcomes from the laboratory into sustainable commercial applications. It also underscores the faculty’s dedication to promoting the development of innovations that align with government regulations and standards, thereby enhancing business opportunities for Thailand’s health, food, and herbal products.
