KMUTT, in collaboration with Fortune Town IT Lifestyle Mall, is hosting the “Fortune X KMUTT Sustainable Exhibition: Unveiling the World of Young Innovators…Towards a Sustainable Future,” emphasizing the importance of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and fostering cooperation between educational institutions and the private sector.

On February 27, 2025, at the Fortune Event Space, 4th Floor, Fortune Town Shopping Mall, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), through the School of Bioresources and Technology, in collaboration with Fortune Town, hosted the “Fortune X KMUTT Sustainable Exhibition”. The event aimed to raise awareness and educate the public about modern technologies that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote sustainability while also showcasing innovations and fostering collaboration between the private sector and educational institutions. The event featured opening remarks from: Mr. Keerati Satasook, Chief Executive Officer of CP LAND Public Company Limited, who welcomed attendees. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Varit Srilaong, Dean of the School of Bioresources and Technology, KMUTT, who outlined KMUTT’s sustainability policies in celebration of the university’s 65th anniversary and the school’s 30th anniversary. Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok, who officially opened the event and toured the exhibition. The exhibition featured cutting-edge innovations from KMUTT’s research groups and the Pilot Plant Development and Training Institute(PDTI), including: “E-Wall: A Green Wall for Air Purification and Pollution Treatment”, developed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chairat Treesubsuntorn and team. “Plant Extracts Using Green Technology and Plant-Based Protein”, by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Natta Laohakunjit and team. “Biogas Treatment and Production: Renewable Energy from Agro-Industrial Waste”, by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pawinee Chaiprasert. “Conservation Ecology”, presented by the Conservation Ecology Research Group. “Lipid Lab Goes Green: Fat Innovation for the Future”, by the Lipid Technology Research Group. “Value-Added Utilization of Agricultural Waste from Communities and Industries”, by the Center of Excellence in Enzyme Technology and Microbial Utilization. “Starch Utilization in Product Development”, by the Carbohydrate Research Group. Additionally, the exhibition showcased projects funded by PMUB, including: “Artificial Meat Production”, led by Dr. Lakha Salaipeth.
“Rose Water Production in Collaboration with the Royal Project Foundation”, presented by Mr. Anuwat Tachaleat, from the Royal Project Foundation Support and Promotion Center.

Throughout the three-day event, attendees experienced a packed schedule of innovative showcases focusing on sustainable futures, clean energy innovations, and green technologies through exhibitions, workshops, and Insight Talk seminars by leading experts, including: (1) “Green Spaces in Bangkok”, (2) “The Growth of Thai Energy for Global Sustainability”, (3) “Future Technologies for Sustainability”, and (4) “The Future of Research in Future Food for Sustainability”. The event took place from February 27 to March 1, 2025.
