












On February 27, 2025, the Science And Industrial Park at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) held a “Hands-on Training Workshop to Enhance Personnel Competency in Using the National Science and Technology Information System (NSTIS)” at BRI-224 Room, Bioprocess Research and Innovation Building (BRI), KMUTT Bang Khun Thian Campus. The workshop aimed to develop skills in utilizing the NSTIS system and enhance the efficiency of infrastructure information services. This initiative is part of the National Science and Technology Information System (NSTIS) Development Project, which serves as a one-stop service platform for science and technology data via https://nstis.mhesi.go.th. The project is managed by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation (MHESI) to provide services to the private sector, industries, government agencies, and the general public under a shared-use model, integrating operations with universities in the Regional Science Park Network. Mrs. Sopida Boonaneksap, Director of SAI KMUTT, welcomed 60 participants from Lower Central Region Science Park Network universities, including: King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, Phetchaburi Rajabhat University, Muban Chombueng Rajabhat University, Nakhon, Pathom Rajabhat University, Kanchanaburi Rajabhat University, and Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon.
The workshop was honored to have Dr. Watanachak Poomvises, Director of the Science Park Group, Office of Science, Research, and Innovation Promotion and Coordination, deliver the opening remarks. The session included a lecture on “The Importance of the System and an Overview of Its Development”, followed by hands-on training on the National Science and Technology Information System (NSTIS). Participants gained insights into the significance of the system, learned how to operate it, input and update data, and effectively manage science and technology infrastructure data within the NSTIS system with accuracy and efficiency.
