King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) and Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) launched “SCB Technology Hub”, a learning space and technology potential development to enhance digital career skills through learning from real work experiences.

On Friday, November 22, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) in collaboration with Siam Commercial Bank held the opening ceremony of “SCB Technology Hub”, a learning and technology skills development space aimed at enhancing the potential of KMUTT students to prepare them for the digital working world.

On this occasion, Associate Professor Dr. Suwit Saetia, President of King Mongkut’s University of Technology, officially received the area from MR. ORAPONG THIEN-NGERN, General Manager and Chief Executive Officer, Technology Group, Siam Commercial Bank Public Company Limited, with executives and representatives from both parties joining as witnesses.

The area is located on the 4th floor of Learning Exchange Building (LX), King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), which will be a center for training work skills in a real working environment. Students will have the opportunity to join internships according to their interests and skills in 2 types of work: QA (Quality Assurance) and DEVELOPER. In addition to gaining work experience in a challenging atmosphere and learning opportunities, students will also receive advice and close supervision from SCB’s team of experts to enhance the skills necessary to enter the digital career path in the future.

The collaboration to launch “SCB Technology Hub” this time reflects the commitment of both organizations to develop technology personnel to strengthen the industry and the country in the long term. It is an important step in creating new opportunities for students to learn and develop technological skills, as well as supporting the sustainable growth of the technology industry in Thailand.
