
On 18 – 19 November 2024, the Center for Organizational Strategy and Competitiveness, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), in collaboration with the Department of Tourism, organized a focus group meeting and training to provide knowledge about the characteristics, potential, and impacts of camping and motorhome tourism under the Camping and Recreational Vehicle Parks Knowledge Development and Management Project at Wang Yao Riverside Resort Hotel, Nakhon Nayok Province.






By the Head of the Tourism Infrastructure Group, Tourist Attraction Development Division, Department of Tourism, giving an opening speech and the objectives of the activity are to provide knowledge and exchange opinions, as well as listen to suggestions from entrepreneurs, government and private agencies, as well as local people, in order to use these opinions and suggestions to develop a framework for setting standards for camping and motorhome tourism in the future, leading to the elevation of sustainable tourism competitiveness, focusing on promoting community economy, employment, and conservation of natural resources, including guidelines for reducing the impacts that will occur from camping and motorhome tourism. This activity has received great interest from various sectors, including tent site operators, resorts, tourism activity operators, and various associations in Nakhon Nayok Province.
