









On November 20, 2024, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), through the Center for Continuing Education, organized a workshop on “Connecting Persons with Disabilities and Entrepreneurs” under the Higher Education Network Expansion Project for the Development of the Potential of Persons with Disabilities for Careers through the KMUTT Disability Training-Internship Model, supported by a budget from the Fund for the Promotion and Development of the Quality of Life of Persons with Disabilities at Learning Exchange (LX), KMUTT.
KMUTT has organized training and internships for people with disabilities in the “Office Staff” course (administrative and security work) under the aforementioned expansion project and has developed a working model that focuses on cooperation with local agencies in Sa Kaeo Province (pilot area), including the Provincial Social Development Office, the Provincial Police Office, the Provincial Employment Office, and local administrative organizations.
On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suvit Saetia, President of KMUTT, presented certificates to 40 trainees and delivered a congratulatory speech. In addition, a seminar on “Remote Employment of Persons with Disabilities via Technology” was organized, which was honored by experts from related sectors to exchange ideas. This seminar is expected to help create widespread awareness of remote employment of persons with disabilities, as well as promote appropriate job design guidelines to create efficient work processes, enabling persons with disabilities to create sustainable and genuine work and productivity.
