On November 18, 2024, the Faculty of Science, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) organized the Work Preparation and Professional Experience Training Project for the Academic Year 2024 at the Science Connect Room, Building N5, Faculty of Science. The objective is to provide students who are about to graduate and students who are preparing for internships with information and advice on the nature of work in their careers, as well as skills that are in demand in the current labor market. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tula Jutarosaga, Dean of the Faculty of Science, gave an opening speech and emphasized the importance of preparing before entering the rapidly changing labor market in the digital age where technology plays a major role. Working is not limited to a traditional office. but emphasizes flexibility and the use of technology to increase efficiency. This is a challenge to which students need to adapt.
On this occasion, the Faculty of Science was honored by the team from UTAC Thai Co., Ltd., led by the Senior Director of Human Resources and Security and the personnel team from UTAC Thai Co., Ltd. as speakers to provide information about the nature of the work and introduce the skills necessary for the work, including opening applications for students to join internships and work with the company.
This is a great opportunity for students to learn from leading organizations, helping them understand career development guidelines after graduation and be able to apply their knowledge to self-development in order to prepare for becoming an entrepreneur or entering a potential career in the future.
