The Student Union of the Faculty of Science held the 3rd Nature and Environmental Conservation Camp (ENVI-SCI #3).

On March 15-16, 2025, the Student Union of the Faculty of Science held the 3rd Nature and Environmental Conservation Camp (ENVI-SCI #3) at the Community Based Integrated Rural Development-Sai Yok in Kanchanaburi Province. The camp aimed to educate participants and instill a positive attitude towards natural resource and environmental conservation, with a particular focus on reducing environmental issues such as carbon dioxide emissions and increasing green spaces. This initiative aligns with the university’s commitment to achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2040 (KMUTT Carbon Neutrality 2040). Additionally, the program sought to equip students with the knowledge and adaptability needed to coexist harmoniously with nature. The event was officially opened and closed by Asst.Prof.Dr. Nakarin Pattanaboonmee, the Dean for Student Development and Academic Services.

The camp included training sessions and hands-on field activities related to various renewable energy sources alongside nature conservation efforts. Activities included maintaining agricultural plots using innovative methods and solar energy, producing fertilizer from biomass for agricultural use and energy generation, as well as learning how to care for and plant trees using the soil mulching technique.
