The Department of Physics organized the 3rd Learning by Doing activity on the topic of “Thermal Physics”.

On November 11-12, 2024, the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, organized the 3rd “Project to Promote Learning Outside the Classroom through Basic Physics Practice (Learning by Doing)” on the topic of “Thermal Physics” at Science Learning Space (N7) to provide both theoretical and practical knowledge that helps to understand the principles of physics through playing and experimenting with a view of the beach like never before to first-year students of the Faculty of Science, Faculty of Engineering, and Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology who enrolled in PHY101 and PHY103, as well as students and interested persons under the close supervision and guidance of lecturers and TAs of the Department of Physics. This activity focuses on learning through hands-on practice that makes it easier to understand the principles of physics, as well as helping to create a learning atmosphere full of enthusiasm and fun. The activities are divided into 10 bases as follows: 11. Hydraulic Lift 2. The Secret Power of Vacuum Cleaners 3. Stirling Engine 4. Cartesian Diver 5. Torricell’s Law 6. Pop-Pack Boat 7. Onsen Tamago 8. Love-bringing Conditions (oops, it’s hot!) 9. Candle Lift and 10. Thermal Expansion. In addition, learning information is provided in module form from the Student Development Project.
