4th-year students of the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, KMUTT, organized a short film production project for the year 2024 under the topic of “Soft Power and Lifelong Learning”.

On October 9, 2024, 4th-year students of the Division of Educational Communications and Technology, Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, organized the 2024 Short Film Production Project under the topic of “Soft Power and Lifelong Learning”. This project is part of the ETM 215: Production for Broadcasting Digital Media course at Major Cineplex Sukhumvit. The event was honored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. SURAPON BOONLUE, Head of the Division of Educational Communications and Technology, along with qualified committee members from 3 other institutions: Silpakorn University, Srinakharinwirot University (SWU), and Chulalongkorn University. This activity was organized to provide students with an opportunity to develop their skills in creating and telling stories through short films. It is also a medium for exchanging knowledge and promoting Thailand’s identity in a modern and interesting way. The event will showcase the work of students from various institutions. This year, the short films that received awards include the Best Short Film Award for 23 Degrees (23 องศา), the Best Storytelling Award for My Love, the Best Short Film Creative Award for Tit Noi & the Hong Thai Inhaler Advertisement (ทิตน้อย & โฆษณายาดมหงส์ไทย), and the Best Cinematography & Sound Editing Award for To Do List – 1 Day Me and You (To Do List – 1 วันฉันและเธอ). There were also comments from qualified judges on the short films.
