School of Liberal Arts Orientation Program for New Students in the Food Industry Management Program

This program is part of a collaborative bachelor’s degree curriculum between King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) and Chotiwat Manufacturing Public Company Limited.

The Office of General Education, School of Liberal Arts, Faculty of Science, and Graduate School of Management and Innovation have collaborated with Chotiwat Manufacturing Public Company Limited to develop and design the Bachelor of Arts and Science in Food Industry Management program.

As part of this collaboration, an orientation activity for new students was held on 7 August 2025 from 08.30–14.30 hrs at Chotiwat Manufacturing Public Company Limited. The event was divided into three sessions as follows:

Session 1: Ice-breaking activities to help students and instructors get to know each other, a Soft Skills Test, and an introduction to the Learning Platform (LEB2). This was followed by warm welcome speeches from: Prof. Dr. Suvit Saetia, President, Prof. Dr. Sasitorn Suwannathep, Advisor to the President, Prof. Dr. Panuthat Boonpramuk, Vice President for Educational and Learning Development. Also joining to welcome the students were: Prof. Dr. Natjiree Jaturapitakkul, Dean of the School of Liberal Arts, Prof. Dr. Tula Jutarosaga, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Prof. Dr. Taweesak Kritjaroen, Dean of the Graduate School of Management and Innovation

Session 2: Introduction of academic advisors and the teaching team, along with opportunities for students to share opinions, ask questions, and get answers.

Final Session: Before concluding the program, Mr. Kraisila Kanont, Assistant Dean for Educational and Learning Development, and Ms. Wannachorn Chaidet, Educational Developer, led students through a Digital Literacy Test to prepare them for their studies in the program.
