





March 10, 2025, the Faculty of Science, KMUTT, held a training program on “Enhancing Faculty Potential in Teaching and Learning Based on the PSF Framework” at Room SCL100, N7 Building, Faculty of Science. The training aimed to equip participants with the knowledge and understanding necessary to prepare competency certification documents in accordance with the required standards. The event was officially opened by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tula Jutarosaga, Dean of the Faculty of Science.
This training session served as a Kick – event to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of KMUTT’s faculty development criteria based on the Professional Standards Framework (PSF) for teaching and learning. The session covered an overview and guidelines for implementing the PSF framework in KMUTT’s faculty development, the principles of competency assessment under PSF, and an introduction to the UK PSF, presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Chanen Munkong, faculty member of the School of Architecture and Design. Additionally, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mayuree Hansupanusorn, faculty member of the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, elaborated on the principles of reflective thinking and provided examples of reflective writing. The session also included milestone planning, knowledge sharing, and discussions. Furthermore, Mr. Napasorn Suksankraisorn from the Office of Human Resource Development provided information regarding the timeline and application process for UK PSF professional recognition.
On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Parinya Sa-Ngiamsuntorn, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Faculty of Science, provided an overview of the faculty development activities under the Professional Standards Framework (PSF) for the year 2025. He also invited faculty members to participate in the PSF – Learning and Teaching (Cohort 2) faculty development program for the 2024 academic year. The event received significant interest from faculty members, highlighting the importance of internationally recognized faculty development. This training marks a crucial step in enhancing teaching quality and effectiveness within the Faculty.
