On January 25-26, 2025, the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, through its Education Development and Learning Innovation Support Unit, organized the “FIET Camp Unlock Your Future 2025” event. The opening ceremony, held at Building S13, was attended by over 170 participants, including faculty members, staff, and students. Assoc.Prof.Dr. Komkrit Chomsuwan, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Educational Systems, delegated Assoc.Prof.Dr.Kuntida Thamwipat, Vice Dean for Student Development and Corporate Communications, along with Assistant Professor Suttipong Sopha, the event chairperson, to oversee the program. The camp featured hands-on workshops tailored to each academic program, allowing students to engage in practical learning experiences while gaining insights into theoretical applications. The activities focused on skill and competency development through an outcome-based learning approach to help students explore their academic interests and potential career paths in the FIET programs. Additionally, participating students were given the opportunity to create innovative projects under the theme “65 Years of Wisdom: Crafting Sustainable Futures”, reflecting KMUTT’s commitment to sustainability. They also presented their work and practiced skills related to their areas of interest throughout the two-day event. This initiative builds upon the FIET Series Workshop: Discover Your True Self, which took place between August and November 2024. The program also served as a platform to introduce FIET’s eight undergraduate programs, reduce dropout rates, and identify prospective students genuinely interested in pursuing industrial education and technology at KMUTT.
