YSEC project focuses on developing skills in Leadership and Management Skills through challenging creative workshops, cooperation and fostering entrepreneurial spirit in line with the university’s goal of developing into a Sustainable Entrepreneurial University.
In addition to training in leadership and management, students in the program also learn how to apply knowledge of science and technology to management, which is a strength of KMUTT to develop graduates with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes ready to become Change Agents in organizations after graduation.
Another important activity in the project is to listen to a lecture from a speaker, the founder of the Sampran Model and the president of the Thai Organic Consumers Association (TOCA) at the Sampran Model Academy room about the “Sampran Model”, a business model that benefits society, focusing on expanding and creating an organic society. Participants had the opportunity to visit Sukjai Market and meet real farmers, as well as join herbal inhaler making workshops, paint cloth bags with natural colors, and rice planting, rice milling, and rice winnowing activities at Pathom Village, Sampran Garden, Nakhon Pathom Province, which are direct experiences that help enhance learning about sustainable organic agriculture.

Throughout the project, students participated in business model design activities, developed presentation skills, teamwork, leadership, and sustainable social problem solving skills by Asst. We were also honored to have Dr. Winai Homsombat, a lecturer from the Faculty of Economics, Thammasat University, who has knowledge and expertise in design thinking and business planning (Business Model Canvas) as a speaker to share knowledge and experience with students, which will be beneficial in developing skills necessary for future operations.
