









On March 3, 2025, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) participated in an academic collaboration discussion with IRPC Technology College, Rayong Province, to develop continuing education programs and bachelor’s degree transfer programs. The meeting was attended by executives, faculty members, and staff from both institutions. Leading the KMUTT delegation was Assoc. Prof. Dr.Siam Charoenseang, Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, along with deans and executives from various faculties, who engaged in discussions with the executive team from IRPC Technology College.
The discussion focused on expanding educational opportunities for vocational students, ensuring a seamless transition to bachelor’s degree programs. The credit transfer program will allow graduates from IRPC Technology College to transfer their credits to KMUTT programs, reducing study time while enhancing skills aligned with future industry demands. Additionally, both institutions explored ways to develop curricula that align with evolving labor market trends and rapidly advancing technologies. They also discussed potential collaborative research and training projects aimed at improving educational quality and fostering strong partnerships between academia and industry. This collaboration is expected to contribute to the development of highly skilled professionals, driving national progress in the long run.
