On April 29, 2025, the Student Financial Aid Unit of King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) organized the project “KMUTT United in Blood Donation: Give Blood, Give Life, Give Opportunity to Fellow Human Beings” (2nd Session, 2025), in collaboration with the National Blood Centre of the Thai Red Cross Society and the Student Loan Fund (SLF). The event took place on the 3rd floor of the Learning Exchange (LX) Building. This initiative aimed to encourage students, staff, and the general public to recognize the significance of blood donation as a profound act of giving. It serves to increase emergency blood reserves while instilling a spirit of altruism and social responsibility, under the guiding concept of “Pay It Forward”—passing on goodness to create positive social impact. The event was met with enthusiastic participation from SLF students, the general student body, university personnel, and members of the public. A total of 372 people registered to donate, resulting in the successful collection of 239 units of blood. All collected blood will be used in life-saving treatments for patients and accident victims.
The organizing team extends heartfelt thanks to all donors for their generosity. Beyond supporting fellow human beings, this event also reflects the power of collaboration and volunteerism within the KMUTT community.
