




The opening ceremony of the 7th Cohort of the Science, Technology, and Innovation Policy Design Training Program (STIP07) was held at the Grande Centre Point Hotel, Lumpini, Bangkok. The event was honored by the presence of distinguished experts in the fields of science, technology, and innovation in Thailand. Notable attendees included: the Former Minister of Science and Technology and President of the Council of King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), Advisor to the Director of the Office of the National Higher Education Science Research and Innovation Policy Council (NXPO), Expert Committee Member of the Agricultural Research Development Agency (ARDA) and Committee Member of the Executive Board for the Management Unit for the Promotion of National Competitiveness Enhancement (PMU-C), and Manager of the Equitable Education Fund (EEF).
The STIP07 program is a non-degree course that has been held annually on a continuous basis. It is jointly developed by STIPI and NXPO. The training spans three months, aiming to equip participants with the ability to identify problems, understand opportunities and national challenges, and grasp analytical and policy design tools. The knowledge gained is applied through practical group projects. Moreover, the course fosters collaborative networks among organizations within the STI system. For the 7th cohort, a total of 60 participants from 35 organizations were selected to join the program.
