On August 26, 2023, the Research and Innovation Department Faculty of Science Organized a workshop on “Guidelines for research and development of medical devices For preparing to apply for medical device registration in Thailand (Medical Device Design and Development)” at the SCi Connect room, 1st floor, Scientific Equipment Center for Standards and Industry building. Faculty of Science, KMUTT, by Asst.Prof.Dr.Kheamrutai Thamaphat, Deputy Dean for Research, Innovation and Cooperation Partners Presided over the opening ceremony of the training and welcomed the participants. In this event, we were honored by Mr. Thanet Wiriyamethanon. Lecturers and experts from PMU research funds with experience in consulting on research and development of medical devices. Medical Device Control Division The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) gave lectures to teachers, researchers, and students of the Faculty of Science. The objective is to understand the life cycle of medical device research and development. Including medical device supervision laws in Thailand To prepare and help drive research on medical devices to be able to request registration and certification from the FDA in order to bring research results and medical device innovations to the market of real users in the future.
