King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) led by Energy Environment Safety and Health: EESH along with Green Heart students and related agencies. Join in showcasing the success of sustainability operations at the global academic conference on sustainable development, Global Sustainable Development Congress 2024, between 10-13 June 2024 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, by presenting images. Includes operations, policies, and performance in reducing carbon emissions to net zero. and carrying out activities to promote sustainability within the university, such as research and academic services in related areas. and creating participation in sustainable development of KMUTT students, personnel, and agencies that have a positive impact on the community, society, and country.
The Global Sustainable Development Congress aims to bring together the higher education, government, and industrial sectors. and civil society together To jointly discuss ways to create a more sustainable future. Directly aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDGs), Goal 17, which is an urgent call for all countries to work together to end poverty and other suffering. At the same time, we must work together to tackle climate change and help protect our oceans and forests. This event is therefore a forum for all relevant sectors of society. They will come together to present ideas, policies, innovations and images of successes that each agency has already implemented. Within the event, you will find many interesting activities such as close interactive discussions. and more than 130 hours of workshops on the role of higher education, government, business and society in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). leading to tangible results There is also an exhibition with an overview of operations related to the Sustainable Development Goals driven by Thai higher education institutions, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation in collaboration with more than 150 higher education institutions. This activity has representatives. More than 3,000 people from 90 countries around the world attended the event, including highlighted activities. The results of THE Impacts Rankings 2024 will also be announced at the event.
