On March 12, 2025, the 3 King Mongkut’s Alumni Club, in collaboration with the KMUTT Alumni Association under the Royal Patronage, the KMUTNB Alumni Association, and the KMITL Alumni Association, held a seminar titled “The Alternative Energy Equation: Investment Variables in the New Technology Era.” The event aimed to exchange perspectives and ideas on modern energy trends and the overall future development of alternative energy. It was held at Room SBN, 3rd Floor, Swissotel Ratchada Bangkok.
The event began with a welcome speech by Mr. Vorasen Leewattanakit, President of the 3 King Mongkut’s Alumni Club. It was honored by a keynote speech from Dr. Somkiat Tangkitvanich, President of the Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI), on “The Development of Thailand’s Digital Infrastructure.” Following the keynote, a panel discussion was held on the topic “The Alternative Energy Equation: Investment Variables in the New Technology Era.” The panel featured distinguished speakers, including: Assoc.Prof.Dr. Schitt Laowattana, Founder and Advisor of the Institute of Field Robotics (FIBO), Mrs. Narinporn Malasri, Deputy CEO of Business Development at SPCG Public Company Limited, and Mr. Kavee Chukitkasem, Chief Investment Advisor at Pi Securities. They shared insights and perspectives on alternative energy investments in the evolving technological landscape. Additionally, the event featured exhibition booths from key industry players, including: PTT Public Company Limited, Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA), Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA), Mit Technical Consultant Co., Ltd., RATCH Group Public Company Limited, and Communication & Systems Solution Public Company Limited
The panelists, along with alumni attendees, collectively contributed their honorariums and additional donations, totaling 170,000 THB, to King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) in support of the Ajarn Paiboon Hangsapruk Fund.
