On May 1st, 2024, Dr. Ittisak Jirapornvaree, Lecturer in Environmental Social Sciences (ESS), School of Liberal Arts (SoLA), King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), KMUTT’s teams, Miss Naiyarat Wongwet, M.A. ESS, and SSC290 & 291 students came to participate in the mangrove forestation activities “Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSER): Chai Len Yeun Ton Ana Kod Yung Yuen” at KMUTT new land lot in Phan Thai Norasing Subdistrict, Samut Sakhon Province. The objective of the activities was to drive and raise awareness for natural and environmental conservation and prepare to become KMUTT’s Carbon Neutrality 2040. In addition to these activities, it is one mechanism for preparing students to achieve learning outcomes using a liberal arts paradigm. The SSC290 course focuses on raising awareness of environmental problems and developing an awareness of conservation and environmentally friendly responsible behavior. At the same time, SSC291 focuses on enabling students to develop CSER activities.
