On September 23, 2024, the Faculty of Science, KMUTT organized a signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi and Tokyo Marine Insurance (Thailand) Public Company Limited, with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tula Jutarosaga, Dean of the Faculty of Science, and Mr. Suteechai Santivarakum, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Tokyo Marine Insurance (Thailand) Public Company Limited, jointly signing, along with executives from both parties as witnesses at the Faculty of Science.
The main purpose of this signing of cooperation is to promote joint academic studies and development, including personnel development of both organizations, especially supporting internship activities for KMUTT students in fields related to the company, including organizing special classes and lectures in the insurance field. In addition, there is cooperation in academic services, such as organizing training and seminars, to enhance important knowledge and skills for personnel of both parties.
This signing is an important step in developing knowledge and creating intellectual property that will bring maximum benefits to both KMUTT and Tokyo Marine Insurance in developing the potential of students and personnel together in the future. It aims to create benefits in academics, research, and sustainable personnel development to strengthen education and the insurance industry in Thailand.
