The Text Analysis Research Group (TARG) of the School of Liberal Arts announced the winners of the “From text to society: Tell us the research you wish to see” competition.

On December 8th, 2022, the Text Analysis Research Group (TARG) of the School of Liberal Arts announced the winners of the “From text to society: Tell us the research you wish to see” competition. Mr. Suttipong Phansomboon, a first-year student in the Civil Engineering department of the Faculty of Engineering, is the first winner. His concept is titled “Investigating public perceptions of the ethics and impact of AI-generated art (e.g. Midjourney)”, and he was awarded 5,000 Thai Baht and a certificate.

Miss Jovelyn Jundante Camacho, a master’s degree student at the School of Liberal Arts, is the second winner; she received 2,000 Baht and a certificate. The name of her concept is “Investigating public views on the recent decriminalisation of cannabis in Thailand”
