Faculty of Engineering, KMUTT Receives THB 1.5 Million in Scholarships from Mitsubishi Electric Thai Foundation (METF)

On 3 September 2026, at the Dean’s Office Meeting Room 1, Faculty of Engineering, 3rd Floor, Classroom Building 4 (S12), the Mitsubishi Electric Thai Foundation, represented by Mr. Yusuke Ochi, General Manager of Strategic Planning & Public Relations, Mitsubishi Electric (Asia) Thailand, awarded scholarships to students of the Faculty of Engineering, KMUTT. A total of five scholarships, valued at THB 1.5 million, were awarded to create greater educational opportunities and support the development of qualified engineers.

The ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr.Tawich Pulngern, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Assoc. Prof. Dr.Duangrudee Kositgittiwong Kongkitkul, Associate Dean for Student Affairs, attended the ceremony, together with the students’ academic advisors and scholarship recipients.

The five scholarship recipients are

1. Ms. Thanasorn Singkhammo, Department of Mechanical Engineering

2. Mr. Rachajirathon Ponkam, Department of Mechanical Engineering

3. Ms. Nuengruethai Rupsung, Department of Mechanical Engineering

4. Mr. Phakin Jaikhamwang, Department of Production Engineering

5. Ms. Fentpich Cheera, Department of Computer Engineering

The scholarship support reflects the collaboration between the education and private sectors in creating educational opportunities and fostering students’ development, equipping them with knowledge and skills to become qualified professionals in the future.
