Faculty of Science, KMUTT Partners with TMEC to Launch Non-Degree Program Supporting Thailand’s Future Semiconductor Workforce

The Faculty of Science, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), in collaboration with the Thai Microelectronics Center (TMEC), is now accepting applications for a Non-Degree Program in “Semiconductor Manufacturing and Advanced Electronics Technology.” The program aims to enhance workforce readiness and develop essential skills for the rapidly growing semiconductor and electronics industries in Thailand and globally.

This short-course program combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on laboratory experience, covering key topics in semiconductor and PCB technologies through five intensive modules: Semiconductor and PCB Industry Overview, Materials Science for Semiconductor, Semiconductor Fabrication Process, Introduction to Semiconductor Devices, and Semiconductor Laboratory Practice in a Cleanroom environment. Participants will gain practical experience under the guidance of industry experts at TMEC.

The program is designed for undergraduate students in science, engineering, and technology fields, recent graduates, industry professionals, and individuals seeking upskilling or reskilling opportunities in the semiconductor and PCB sectors.

Participants may enroll in individual modules, and completed modules may be eligible for credit transfer under KMUTT Faculty of Science regulations. Classes will be conducted onsite at KMUTT and TMEC during June–July 2026 on weekdays. The total tuition fee for the full program is 20,000 THB.

Applications are open until 4 June 2026. More information and online application are available via oneKMUTT.
