KMUTT Drives Educational Collaboration with Knowledge Exchange Activities Among School Consortium Members

King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) recently hosted a knowledge exchange event among educational institutions within the KMUTT – School Consortium. The event, held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at both KMUTT Bangmod and KMUTT Bangkhunthian campuses, brought together school administrators and guidance counselors from 65 member schools. The primary goal was to foster collaboration among institutions, jointly develop educational approaches that cater to students’ needs, and provide network schools with deeper insights into KMUTT.

The morning session featured presentations outlining KMUTT’s academic programs, student admission criteria, and details about various admission rounds and projects. This was followed by a talk titled “Strategies for Consortium Activities in 2025–2026” and a brainstorming session on the topic “Designing Activities that Meet the Needs of Both Students and Educational Institutions Within the Consortium.” These sessions aimed to encourage participants to propose practical and beneficial strategies. Additionally, attendees were divided into groups to tour various faculties and departments, including the Faculty of Engineering, the School of Information Technology, the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, the Institute of Field Robotics (FIBO), the Faculty of Science, Admission and Requirement Office, and an exhibition booth for KMUTT Ratchaburi.

In the afternoon, participants continued their tours at KMUTT Bangkhunthian, visiting the School of Architecture and Design and the Joint Degree Program in Media Arts and Media Technology. This knowledge exchange initiative followed the recent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on academic cooperation between KMUTT and consortium schools, aiming to promote inclusivity and equality in education across Thailand.
