On February 3, 2025, the support staff of the Faculty of Science participated in the second session of the “Sit & Sip with the President” discussion. The event was organized by the Senate kmutt and was held at the Prapha Prachaksuphaniti Meeting Room(AD-907) on the 9th floor of the Office of the President.
During the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suvit Saetia, President of KMUTT, shared the university’s policies with the staff and outlined key development strategies. These included enhancing the quality of education, improving infrastructure, and fostering organizational culture. The aim was to enable staff members to plan their work effectively and adapt these strategies to their respective departments.
During the discussion and exchange of ideas, staff members actively engaged in asking questions and proposing development initiatives. Key topics included improving communication from the university level to faculties, departments, and units, requesting workforce frameworks for academic support staff, financial management, enhancing employee welfare and benefits, expanding opportunities for skill development, and fostering a work environment that encourages creativity, among other issues.
The “Sit & Sip with the President” initiative serves as a crucial platform for fostering mutual understanding and collaboration in advancing KMUTT as a sustainable innovation-driven university. The university values input from all staff members and is committed to considering their suggestions to drive further institutional development.
