KMUTT joins hands with KMITL and KMUTNB held the robe offering ceremony for Wat Rajapradit Sathitmahasimaram Ratchaworawihan

On October 18, 2024, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), and King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) jointly organized the 3 King Mongkut’s Kathina Ceremony at the Royal Vihara of Wat Ratchaprarot Sathit Maha Simaram Ratchaworawihan to raise funds for the renovation of Wat Ratchaprarot Sathit Maha Simaram under the royal patronage to commemorate his great kindness and to make merit for His Majesty King Mongkut the Great, on the occasion of his 220th birthday. The executives, personnel, and students of all three institutions joined the ceremony. The ceremony was Phra Maha Sutthai Chitpunyo Pali 9 Wat Sommanas Vihara. Delivered a sermon in honor of His Majesty the King, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Teerawat Boonyasopon, Vice President for Student Affairs and Alumni Relations, KMUTNB, gave a speech presenting the forest cloth. Phra Phrom Wacharachan, the abbot, considered the forest cloth of 3 institutes/universities and awarded 3 scholarships for students of all 3 institutes. 10 monks with high ecclesiastical ranks chanted Buddhist prayers. 27 monks with high ecclesiastical ranks listened to the sermon. Wat Ratchaprarot Sathit Maha Simaram Ratchaworawihan is a first-class royal temple and the temple of King Rama IV.
