On 15 October 2026, a delegation from King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Prasert Kanthamanon, Senior Vice President for Administrative Affairs, and Dr. Chawin Chantharasenawong, Vice President for Internationalization, visited Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) in Surabaya, Indonesia.
During the visit, KMUTT and ITS renewed their institutional partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and an Agreement on Staff and Student Exchange, reaffirming both universities’ commitment to strengthening academic cooperation and international engagement.
The KMUTT delegation was welcomed by Prof. Nurul Widiastuti, Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, together with representatives from ITS Global Engagement, Academic Cooperation, and several academic and research units.
Both institutions exchanged updates on recent developments and discussed opportunities to further strengthen academic collaboration, student mobility, research cooperation, and internationalization initiatives. The discussions also explored potential areas for future collaboration between the two universities.
The visit reflects KMUTT’s continued commitment to strengthening partnerships with leading universities in ASEAN and expanding opportunities for academic exchange, research cooperation, and global engagement.
