King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) proudly congratulates Ms. Parinchat Traipanyasart, International Coordinator at the International Affairs Office, on her successful completion of the DIES Training Course: Management of Internationalisation 2025/26. Dialogue on Innovative Higher Education Strategies (DIES) is an international higher education capacity-building programme that supports university leaders and staff in strengthening institutional internationalisation and strategic development. The programme is jointly coordinated by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the German Rectors’ Conference (HRK) and funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
Ms. Parinchat was selected from more than 160 applicants worldwide following a rigorous evaluation by a committee of internationalisation experts. Only 30 university managers and internationalisation professionals from Africa, Latin America, and Asia were admitted to the 2025-2026 cohort.
The year-long programme is designed to strengthen the capacity of higher education professionals responsible for managing internationalisation strategies and activities within their institutions. As part of the programme, participants were required to design and implement a practical institutional project capable of creating tangible impact at their home universities. Ms. Parinchat developed the project titled “Enhancing Strategic Partnership Management at KMUTT,” which focused on creating a more strategic and data-driven approach to managing KMUTT’s international partnerships and ensuring alignment with the University’s global engagement goals.
Reflecting on the experience, Ms. Parinchat noted that the DIES programme significantly enhanced her competencies in strategic thinking, project management, and international higher education cooperation. The training provided practical tools and perspectives that will support her continued work in developing sustainable international partnerships and advancing KMUTT’s internationalization objectives.
Ms. Parinchat officially received the Certificate of Completion in June 2026, marking the successful conclusion of the programme after completing all three workshops, including sessions in Germany and India, undertaking continuous project implementation, and submitting a final institutional project report. This accomplishment reflects both her professional dedication and KMUTT’s commitment to strengthening institutional capacity and advancing internationalisation excellence.
