






Professor Dr. Chaowalit Limmaneevichitr, from the Department of Production Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, and Vice President for Student and Learner Development at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), has been appointed as a Committee Member on Die Casting of the World Foundry Organization (WFO). The official appointment ceremony took place during the China Die Casting and China Nonferrous 2026 exhibition on July 15, 2026, in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China.

For this four-year term (July 15, 2026 – July 14, 2030), Prof. Dr. Chaowalit will collaborate with an international team of experts to shape the strategic direction and drive advancements in die casting technology. His responsibilities will include providing academic recommendations, planning global foundry initiatives, promoting collaborative research, facilitating knowledge transfer, and providing consultation to the industrial sector.
