Strengthening Educational Collaborations: Taipei Economic and Cultural Office Visits KMUTT

A distinguished delegation from the Taipei Economics and Cultural Office, led by Prof. Wen-Ling Deng, Counsellor and Director of the Science and Technology Division, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Vietnam, and Mr. Yen-Heng Ouyang, Director of the Education Division, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Thailand, visited King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) on June 19, 2023. The purpose of their visit was to explore the exciting prospects of student mobility, fostering educational collaborations between Taiwan and Thailand.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Hong-ming Ku, Assistant to the President for Internationalization at KMUTT, and Ms. Sasima Juwasophi, Director of the International Affairs Office, warmly welcomed the delegation, emphasizing the shared commitment to educational partnerships. The visit served as a significant opportunity to strengthen ties and exchange ideas between KMUTT and Taiwan.

The delegation engaged in fruitful discussions, highlighting the extensive range of educational opportunities available at Taiwan’s renowned universities. Valuable insights were shared by the Taipei Economics and Cultural Office representatives, shedding light on the various student mobility programs in Taiwan, including scholarships and new international internship opportunities.
Following their visit to the KMUTT Bangmod campus, the delegation proceeded to the Bangkhuntien campus for a comprehensive tour of KMUTT’s research facilities. This allowed the delegates to gain knowledge of the university’s cutting-edge infrastructure and research capabilities.
