On April 30, 2025, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) hosted a delegation from Lunghwa University of Science and Technology (LHU), led by LHU President Prof. Dr. Tzu-Hsiang Ko, at its Bangmod campus. The visit aimed to reinforce the longstanding partnership between the two institutions and explore new avenues for academic collaboration.

KMUTT President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suvit Saetia warmly welcomed the LHU delegation. Discussions during the courtesy meeting focused on expanding joint academic programs and initiatives, particularly in the fields of artificial intelligence and semiconductors, as well as strengthening student and faculty exchange.
Following the meeting, the LHU delegates were invited to tour the Institute of Field Robotics (FIBO). The tour was led by the Director of FIBO, Asst. Prof. Dr. Supachai Vongbunyong, who introduced the delegation to ongoing research projects, student innovations, and advanced robotic technologies developed at the institute. As part of the visit, the delegation also learned about “OsseoLabs,” a spin-off company from KMUTT’s Department of Mechanical Engineering. This highlighted KMUTT’s strong focus on research translation and industry engagement.

The visit offered valuable insights into KMUTT’s applied research capabilities and potential areas for future collaboration between the two institutions. It also further reinforced the shared vision of KMUTT and LHU in preparing students for global challenges through technology-driven education and research excellence.
