On Thursday, August 29, 2024, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) welcomed a distinguished delegation from National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST) for an agreement signing ceremony aimed at expanding their longstanding partnership. The NPUST delegation, led by Dr. Chin-Lung Chang, President, and Dr. Vincent Ru-Chu Shih, Dean of the Office of International Affairs, visited KMUTT to formalize the next phase of collaboration between the two institutions.
The NPUST delegates were warmly welcomed by KMUTT President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suvit Saetia, along with the Vice President for Internationalization, the Assistant to the President for Internationalization, and representatives from key faculties including the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, Faculty of Science, and the Graduate School of Management and Innovation.
Since first entering into formal cooperation in 2012, KMUTT and NPUST have cultivated strong academic and research ties. The new agreement, signed at this ceremony, focuses on fostering collaborative research projects that will enhance knowledge sharing and innovation between the universities. This initiative highlights their joint commitment to addressing global challenges through research and technological advancements.
