UD Trucks is a Japanese company whose principal business is the manufacture and sales of medium and heavy-duty diesel trucks , active in more than 60 countries on all continents. The company has been owned by the Volvo Group since 2007. Formerly known as Nissan Diesel, the company changed its name to UD Trucks in 2010. Today UD Trucks is one of the four largest truck manufacturers in Japan.
