On 28 August 2026, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) welcomed a delegation from the University of Osaka, Japan, led by Professor Fujiyama Kazuhito from the International Center for Biotechnology and accompanied by Associate Professor Manami Fujihira from the Center for Japanese Language and Culture. The visit provided an opportunity for both institutions to exchange information and explore areas of mutual interest in academic cooperation.
During the meeting, Prof. Fujiyama introduced University of Osaka’s undergraduate student mobility initiatives and shared information regarding its planned 2027 undergraduate student program. Discussions also covered the ASEAN Biotechnology Program and opportunities to promote international learning experiences for students from both institutions.
The visit reflected the shared commitment to strengthening academic connections between Thailand and Japan. Through continued dialogue and collaboration, both institutions aim to expand opportunities for student mobility, intercultural learning, and academic cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
