Dr. Duangrudee’s Enriching Experience in the WTUN Exchange Programme 2023-24

Dr. Duangrudee Kositgitttiwong Kongkitkul from the Department of Civil Engineering at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) participated in the WTUN Exchange Programme 2023-24. The program, themed “Fluid Mechanics and Renewable Energy for Sustainable Energy Engineering,” took place from November 25 to December 6, 2024, at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria, Wels, Austria.

During her stay, Dr. Duangrudee co-taught with Prof. Georg Aichinger in the Sustainable Engineering Systems (SES) program, focusing on Fluid Mechanics. This collaboration enhanced her teaching skills, provided valuable insights into innovative teaching methods, and established potential research collaborations in Fluid Mechanics and Renewable Energy.

The highlight of her visit was the warm and collaborative academic environment at Wels. The opportunity to contribute to the SES program, engage with students and faculty, and experience Austrian culture was invaluable. It strengthened her resolve to promote cross-cultural academic exchanges and foster long-term partnerships between KMUTT and the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria.

The WTUN Exchange Programme has been an invaluable experience for Dr. Duangrudee, allowing her to contribute to and learn from an internationally renowned academic institution. The support and collaboration she received have greatly enriched her professional and personal growth.
