King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) welcomed a delegation from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), reaffirming a shared commitment to expanding academic cooperation and supporting international talent mobility between Thailand and Germany.
The DAAD delegation was led by Mr. Felix Wagenfeld, DAAD Regional Director and Director of the DAAD Thailand Office, accompanied by representatives from the DAAD Information Centre Bangkok. The delegation was welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chawin Chantarasenawong, Vice President for Internationalisation, along with KMUTT faculty members and representatives from the International Affairs Office.
The visit provided an opportunity for both institutions to discuss current and future areas of cooperation in higher education, research, and international exchange. During the meeting, participants explored avenues to strengthen academic partnerships, foster research collaboration, and expand opportunities for students, researchers, and faculty members to engage in international experiences.
KMUTT and DAAD expressed their intention to continue working closely together to support talent mobility between Thailand and Germany, enabling students, researchers, and academic staff to access international learning and research opportunities. Both parties look forward to building upon this partnership to create new opportunities for academic and research engagement in the years ahead.
