The Department of Environmental Engineering, KMUTT, and its networks hosted the “9th International Conference on Green and Sustainable Innovation” to explore future-sustaining technologies and innovations.

Department of Environmental Engineering Faculty of Engineering King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) together with the university and various environmental agencies including Mae Fah Luang University (MFU), V Green KU Company Limited, Kasetsart University (KU), Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Faculty of Engineering Mahidol University (MU), Faculty of Environmental Technology and Management Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Faculty of Science Chiang Mai University (CMU) and the Joint Graduate School of Energy and Environment, KMUTT are co-organizers of the event.
With support from Daikin Industries (Thailand) Co., Ltd., Siam Daikin Sales Co., Ltd., Innovative Instrument Co., Ltd., Para Scientific Co., Ltd. Co., Ltd., Analytic Jena Far East (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and United Analyst and Engineering Consultants Co., Ltd. organized the “9th International Conference on Green and Sustainable” international academic conference. Innovation (ICGSI)” to explore future-sustaining technologies and innovations. To explore how science, technology and innovation can push us towards a sustainable future. This meeting was a forum to discuss environmental issues. and show creativity through presenting research and innovation results That will accelerate the research process towards a world with net zero carbon emissions. It is also an exchange of knowledge with each other. This will help promote cooperation. Build networks in the research, academic or professional circles for the future. The activity was held between 30-31 May 2024 at True Digital Park West, 3rd Floor, Bangkok and an off-site study activity for registered participants on 1 June 2024. The opening ceremony of the activity was held on On May 30, 2024, with ASSOC. PROF. DR.TAWICH PULNGERN, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering presided over the ceremony and had Asst.Prof.Dr. PRAPAT PONGKIATKUL, Head of the Department of Environmental Engineering State the report and objectives of the project.
Within the event, there were interesting activities and presentations such as special lectures on environmental technology. by experts from various fields, such as the current upcycling business and future change trends The future of good indoor air quality management Guidelines for preparing Carbon Footprint and Carbon Neutrality, solving data analysis problems with AI and Low carbon concreate technology, including Concreate waste recycling technology, etc. Innovation exchange platform activities of each university. Showcasing the latest technology in True Digital Park from world-class companies such as LG and Hyundai, as well as organizing tours. To create new experiences for attendees such as The Forestias project, EGAT Learning center project, Daikin learning center, Innovative Learning center and RDF power plant of Siam Power Company Limited.
